The Engineering profession receives an exciting wave of novel schematics. While traditional Classic recipes form the structural backbone, artisans will need novel components such as Azerothium Bars, Legionite Bars, Torbernite, Marefoil, and Viridian Dye. Additionally, mastering the trade grants access to an exclusive profession title.
Significantly, the vast majority of these creations are Bind-on-Equip (BoE) and do not impose an Engineering skill requirement for their usage. Adventurers can reap the benefits of these powerful utilities without necessarily dedicating their primary profession slots to engineering.
Head
Engineering goggles have always defined the aesthetic and practical utility of the trade. A complete set tailored for every armor class is now available, featuring an active spyglass effect that grants extended field-of-view capabilities reminiscent of the classic Ornate Spyglass.

Back
A new back-slot apparatus operates similarly to the classic Parachute Cloak while seemingly incorporating it as a component. Unlike its predecessor, this version introduces limited charges that can be replenished using the Ultrasafe Rechargeable Battery found among miscellaneous inventions. This design hints at broader adjustments to traditional parachute mechanics in the expansion.

Waist
Three separate belt schematics currently lack active modifiers or use effects, suggesting they are placeholders awaiting full balancing implementation in future beta iterations.

Trinket
Utility trinkets expand significantly, highlighted by a stealth-generating field device that grants short-term invisibility. Like the new parachute cape, this item relies on the Ultrasafe Rechargeable Battery for charge restoration. Alongside it returns the iconic Gnomish Poultryizer originally introduced during The Burning Crusade.

Tinker
First popularized in Wrath of the Lich King, permanent equipment enhancements return to modify boots and cloaks. Engineers can craft upgrades that mirror a Mage's tactical Blink maneuver alongside the legendary, high-velocity Nitro Boots burst.

Not Yet Implemented
Two mysterious schematics currently carry “NYI” tags without specified mechanics, leaving players to speculate on the potential functions of the Interdimensional Companion Repository and Gnomish Weather Machine.

Miscellaneous
Several standalone marvels expand utility options. The Stealthman 52 equips any class with out-of-combat stealth capabilities, while the Ultralight Goblin Glider provides controlled directional flight during descent. A dedicated recharging mechanism is also included to maintain equipment charges on finite devices.

Title
Achieving a skill rating of 300 allows engineers to utilize a special certification token, unlocking an exclusive professional designation for their character.
